The school orchestra was introduced in 2005 and has proved an enormous asset to the school and a great opportunity for our children. In 2017, there are approximately 30 members of the orchestra, playing a diverse range of instruments including flutes, clarinets, saxophones, violins, celli, guitars, trumpet, piano, rhythmic and keyboard percussion.
The orchestra is enthusiastically led by Mrs Lydia Burjan, a parent of the school and is funded by the orchestra members.
The Orchestra currently rehearses every Wednesday morning from 8.30 to 9.20am. They perform several times each year both at the school and within the local community and enjoy an end-of-year performance and awards night.
