Backflips Against Bullying

On Wednesday the 15th of October, K-6 had representatives of ‘Backflips Against Bullying’ visit our school for an incursion and teach us about the ramifications of bullying.
K-2 and 3-6 had specifically catered separate shows to enjoy where people cartwheeled, did backflips and handstands to capture the audience's attention . They would act out scenes and would ask the audience if they recognised the bullying. Throughout the show, they included the students in the humour, fun, real-life situations.
But most importantly, we learnt that bullying is unacceptable, and it doesn’t make you tougher or stronger. Bullying can change who people are and what they do, so if you ever see anything that seems like bullying, be an upstander!
