Community kindness in action
23 Jul 2025
Our student leaders, teachers and families worked together to donate nearly 400kg of food to Foodbank Australia, supporting families and children across NSW.
On Wednesday 23 July, Mortlake Public School had a proud moment of community spirit. Our senior leadership group and SRC led a food drive that collected close to 400kg of donations for Foodbank Australia.
Foodbank supports thousands of charities and school breakfast programs, helping ensure every child has the chance to thrive. This initiative shows the strength of public education, where students not only learn but also lead with compassion.
A big thank you to our generous families and teachers for making this possible.
Mortlake Public School provides a wide range of programs to complement the curriculum and broaden our students' learning experience. Taking part in co-curricular and extracurricular activities helps our students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.
