This year, Mortlake Public School competed in DanceSport on Tuesday, 25 August 2026. Our talented students took to the dance floor to compete in the Tango and Cha Cha, showcasing their impressive skills, hard work and dedication.
We were thrilled to receive two wild cards, giving our dancers another opportunity to impress the judges. Although we unfortunately didn’t progress further in the competition, our students should be incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they represented Mortlake Public School.
This year, our theme colour was red. The boys looked fantastic in shimmery red neckties, suspenders and white shirts, while the girls dazzled in two-piece outfits featuring black tops, long black skirts and sparkly belts.
A special thank you to Miss McEvoy for assisting with DanceSport this year and supporting our students throughout their preparation and performance. We are so proud of our DanceSport team and the enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment they demonstrated!
