Debating team update
28 May 2025
On Tuesday 6 May, Mortlake Public School's Year 5 debating team participated in a dynamic debating workshop designed to develop their public speaking and persuasive writing skills.
Held in collaboration with six other Sydney schools, the workshop gave students the opportunity to explore the art of argument, refine their techniques, and gain confidence in presenting their ideas.
It was a fantastic day of learning, collaboration, and critical thinking - and our students rose to the challenge with enthusiasm.
