Mortlake excels in school evaluation

Mortlake Public School has been recognised for excellence in its recent Department of Education External Validation.

Mortlake Public School has achieved outstanding results in its recent External Validation, a Department of Education process that takes place every four years.

Our executive team worked hard to present evidence of how our school is meeting, and exceeding, the expectations set out in the School Excellence Framework.

The process evaluates 15 elements across 3 domains: Learning, Teaching and Leading. We are very proud to share that the external panel confirmed our school is Excelling in 9 elements, whilst 6 others were Sustaining and Growing.

Why this matters

These results show what makes Mortlake special. We are thriving in teaching and learning through clear, evidence-based practice. We are strengthening student growth and wellbeing by combining high expectations with strong support. And we are leading with purpose by investing in our staff and building strong partnerships with our community.

HPGE Program

At Mortlake Public School, we believe every child has unique strengths, whether creative, intellectual, physical or social-emotional. Our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) program is designed to identify those talents and help students reach new heights through enrichment, extension and accelerated learning.
