Science Incursion

Imagine floating through space, your eyes are fixed on the drifting stars and meteorites, until you reach Earth, the Oasis of Space. On Tuesday, the 15th of September, students in K-6 attended a Science Incursion that was inside a dome!
The show was all about the planets and how Earth is our only dependable Oasis in Space. There were three-dimensional effects and wind blowing to add additional travelling effects. Students discovered what our Solar System looks like as they hovered through our Milky Way.
We saw Mercury’s diminutive ground, Venus’ acidic atmosphere and rain. We even witnessed our own Earth’s lively land and Mars’ red dusty land. We went through the gas giants and ice giants, savouring the storms and strong winds. Students absolutely loved this show and learned so much in one day!
