Student voice represented at HPGE Network meeting

Four Mortlake PS students represented our school at a student-led HPGE meeting across the Strathfield network.
Four gifted students proudly represented Mortlake Public School at a student-led meeting across the Strathfield network of schools.
The students shared ideas and took part in thoughtful discussions about High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE). They represented the four domains of giftedness: intellectual, creative, social-emotional and practical.
Working alongside students from other schools, they helped develop ideas to strengthen student voice and future HPGE learning. Our students then confidently presented their ideas to the network principals.
A big thank you to Ms Timmins and Ms Karikios for supporting and mentoring our students. We are very proud of their leadership and excited about what this means for student voice and HPGE at our school in the future.
