At Mortlake Public School, we are proud of the high level of parental involvement across the whole school.
We have an active P&C, a parent run canteen and uniform shop, parents who help lead our school music program (orchestra, band and choir), a high level of parental help at our three yearly sports carnivals (swimming, cross country and athletics) and parent helpers in the classrooms.
Throughout the year many parents become involved in school programs and special functions. If you can help in any way your time and assistance would be much appreciated. Your child will also enjoy seeing you involved. If you feel you have any expertise that may be of benefit to the school please let us know.
Parents' and Citizens' Association
You are welcome to attend the P&C meetings which take place on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7.00pm in the connected classroom (Mrs Claro's room). The Association runs both the School Uniform shop and the School Canteen on a voluntary basis. Any help you can provide in the Canteen or with other fund raising activities would be valued and supports the purchase of educational resources for your child.
