The school library has a collection of fiction, non-fiction and teacher resources. School library resources are also loaned to teachers and classrooms to provide a range of materials for reading and research during the year.
BORROWING:
Students are given the opportunity to borrow during their library lessons. There are limits on the number of books students may borrow.
K - 2 limit: 2 Fiction books & 2 Non-Fiction books (Total- 4 books)
3 - 6 limit: 3 Fiction books & 3 Non-Fiction books (Total- 6 books)
For students in Kindergarten, Stage 1 and Stage 2, a library bag (labelled with the student's name) is required for borrowing.
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES:
Throughout the school year, some students may wish to participate in the Premier's Reading Challenge (PRC) or activities run by Concord Library. Further information regarding the PRC will be sent home early in Term 1.
