Cross Country Carnival

On Monday 12 May, students from Mortlake Public School laced up their runners and took to the track at Edwards Park for our annual Cross Country Carnival.

It was a day filled with energy, determination, and strong house spirit as students from across the school competed for glory.

Runners from age groups 8–9, 10, 11 and 12 years took part in the event, representing their school houses - Macarthur (red), Phillip (yellow), Parkes (green), and Wentworth (blue) - all vying to earn points toward the coveted house trophy.

The top 6 runners in each race will progress to the Zone Cross Country Carnival, while ribbons were awarded to the top 4 finishers. Below are the top 2 placegetters from each race:
